Have been dining here on a Sunday for years. Always excellent service and really delicious food. We were big Mr Pangs fans for those who remember, this is just as good. We never fail to bring family and friends here when we can too. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Group of 4 hadn’t booked but were welcomed warmly. Without exception the dishes were excellent and from what we could see other diners thought the same. Would definitely return, fantastic value.

Oakham seems to have no Chinese restaurants...so we drove to Uppingham, 5 miles away and we are so glad we did. The food and service at this diner was fantastic! We had the set feast meal* for 2 persons at 22 pp. Extensive menu with lots of options. *Chicken noodle soup starters, followed by half crispy duck - pancake rolls, cucumber etc, mains included egg fried rice, thinly sliced fillet steak sizzling dish - delicious, sweet and sour pork, spicy chicken all cooked to a high tasty standard. We had Chinese tea, but coffee or normal tea available with set meal. Complementary prawn crackers. Lovely clean decor, attentive service not rushed and dining tables nicely spaced out. We will definitely return this time next year...as part of our annual trip to Oakham. Highly recommended!
Wasn't to sure at first about this Chinese restaurant as from the outside looked a bit dated although clean and tidy.. think it was just the bright big sign over the restaurant. Obviously with watching for a few minutes saw customers in and out so.. we gave it a try. So pleased we did. ..Outstanding first class food service and staff.. Food was delicious. . One of the best I had had. With having a Chinese friend with me whom also is a great chef in Chinese cuisine and knowledge made this a great meal... Fresh hot cooked food served quickly and to perfection. . Cannot praise it enough.. Well done delicious ..
